The EBW® Emergency Shut-Off Valve (Shear Valve) automatically shuts off fuel flow in emergency situations such as fire or impact to the dispenser. This valve features a patented adapter that disconnects upon impact, triggering the poppet mechanism to tightly close the valve body, preventing fuel spillage. In the event of a fire, the fusible link releases the fulcrum arm, which automatically activates the poppet to shut off fuel flow, providing maximum protection against leaks and explosions in the filling area.
